Best effects to combine with Octave?

I found this old thread with people posting their fav settings for the OC2.

I was thinking rather than ask what settings I would ask for anyones fav effects to combine with the Octave to get an new sound?

Not really used an Octaver much before and recently bought an OC2 from ebay. I have a Zoom B3 as well and had been messing about with that to try and combine effects.

I had read Octave into Dirt is a good combo and you can get a more synthy keyboard style sound.

I have a patch on my zoom which is Comp into Oct into a Fuzz which sounds pretty good, my OC2 should arrive this week so will have a play about with that combined with the B3.

Anyone got any other combos they like to use?

Octave into Fuzz/Distortion into Phaser or Chorus can give you some cool synth bass sounds.

On my fretless fitted with flat wounds, I really like and OC-2 and a TC electronics Corona Chorus on the top end for a bit of top end shimmer.

OC2 into gated fuzz

OC-2 into an envelope filter sounds great. Really fattens up the filter. My OC-2 works really well with a Mu-Tron, Q-Tron, DiscumBOBulator, 00Funk, etc.

OC-2>Fuzz/Distortion>Filter is also fantastic for analogue old school synth type sounds.

I love:

octave -> dirt (really any kind but especially fuzz)
Octave -> filter -> phase can give really amazing synth sounds
Octave -> Moogerfoogers (any of them) can be just amazing as well. I can't believe Moog never made an octave Moogerfooger

My fave by far it´s:

Octaver + Envelope Filter+ something dirty (better if it´s a Fuzz). It gives me tons of a real funky sound.

Though sometimes I use my OC-2 with a Phaser too (even Chorus) too. But this is not so funny yet .
