can anyone compare the MXR to the XerographDlx?

I have spent some time on both. The xerograph wasn't quite what I was expecting. I think with an expression pedal it would be boobies. It has crazy ranges of sounds that you can get, but I wanted something that I could make sound like a talk box. The BEF is more of a vocal wah than the IE. I also liked the dry blend knob on the mxr. Kept some heavy lows in.

I would like to hear a comparison of the MXR and the WMD fatman.

Any opinions on the DOD FX25? I heard they were once a hot item.

I used to own a DOD FX25 in the 90s and loved it. I stopped using filters for a while, but recently picked up the MXR AutoQ and I can get a sound close to the DOD. It does take some time to spend working with to get the right setting, and it probably isn't for everyone, but I really like it.

I think we are a contender for having spent more money developing envelope filter effects than anyone. Too bad there is no prize for that!

I used to own a DOD FX25 in the 90s and loved it.

Does the version really matter? I think there are about 6 versions of the FX25, and some folks swear that the older "Kermit green" ones are the best by far. Any truth to that? I'm asking anyone who might know.
