If you haven’t found an expression pedal already then I recommend the EHX Cntrl Knob Static Exp. Instead of a volume or wah-like pedal, instead it lets you set two predetermined settings and switch between the two. It has a polarity button to help. Use it with a TRS cable and you now have a dual channel overdriven Bass Butler without needing to disengage the dirty channel.

I agree and did the same. I'll use it instead with guitar for its stated purpose (it sound great for that, not so much for an EXP pedal). Oh well, that's why they call it R&D.
