Best for a mustang shorty....

I ran through a couple differing sets of rounds and settled and D'addario Chrome flats on my Mustang before I moved it on. Since the mustang is short scale it leans towards the thumpy less sustain thing. I tried to fight it for awhile before just getting strings that went along with that tone. Chromes worked best IMHO, but to be honest, the stock fender rounds for short scalers were actually pretty good. The stock strings were better on that bass than the other sets of rounds I tried on it (D'addario XL's and some set of DR's, I forget which at the moment).
