Double Bass Best light weight practice amps

There is no 'BEST' and the one that gets the most votes here just gets the most votes.
All differ in some way and it really is just personal preference. That said, I would check out the new GK 112 combo as it has been getting good reviews and the price is good.
Also, the sound starts with you and the bass and the amp will modify it somewhat but can only work with what comes in.

GB Shuttle 3.0 8T packs enough punch for me and is light weight. I was looking at the cub, but passed on it and got the GB instead. Also, the GK micro are still great as well.

Genz Benz shuttles are excellent, and can take a direct input frmo a piezo without a preamp buffer.

I would still recommend a buffer though.

I bought a Shuttle 3.0 10T more or less as a practice amp and I actually do more gigs with it these days than with my big 2x12 rig.
