Best Live Rock recording

Don't know if this teaser has been thrown out here before, but this is an argument that my friends and I have debated a long time. What is the greatest live recording of a rock song? I tend to stay towards the more commercial entries with my list. The idea being the live version becomes the version that every wants to hear and the studio version (if there is one) seems lame.

well, I am *so* sick of "do you feel like I do" that I just can't get behind it... and I'd consider "Freebird" were it not for Skynard's recent choice to tour with Sean Hannity in some cracker tour...

So single best live recording, to me? In memory of Elizabeth Read from, of course, Allman Bros, live at the Fillmore east, of course!

If I made the artist's political views a criteria for choosing to listen to them or not, I'd have trouble finding anyone to listen to. Lots of great musicians have very little common sense and certainly have little financial sense. They're just lucky they have lot's of talent to cover this deficency.

This really a kind of trick question, since most "live" recordings undergo heavy post production in the studio. I can't think of a less "live" sounding record than Frampton.
