Best matched J for stock P

I have a P/J precision with a stock Fender mia P pickup and a DiMarzio ultra J in the bridge position.
This combination doesn't sound too great with both pickups on full (and before anyone asks the polarity is ok ) so I wondered if anyone had a suggestion for an alternative J.
I like the individual tone of each pickup and don't want to replace both if I can help it.

how about a model J instead of the Ultra?

A little worried about it being too dark maybe.
On the other hand I do have one floating about that I could try...

I might just replace both.
