so imma be building a jazz bass soon and i can't find the p-up configuration i want
the jazz will have a swamp ash body. w/ a wenge neck and rosewood FB
imma have the bass be all passive vol/tone stack knobs for each p-up.
and a 3way toggle switch for easy p-up changes in the fly
so the thing is what is the best configuration that will have the most growl and mid punch, w/ tight gorwly lows and a nice crisp on the high end but not t harsh

Best of all my basses is my Musicman Sterling with a single MM. In series, it out-Ps my P-bass, and in parallel it out-Js my J-bass. I just wish there was something to anchor my thumb on. I'll probably end up taping or gluing a little rest to the pickguard.
