Best Pedal(s) Purchase You Ever Made?

I don't understand why this isn't brought up...

To me the best pedal purchase (not speaking of best pedal) is the BOSS GEB-7 Bass Equalizer.

That is the one pedal that I really do need.
Off course it will be useless when I get an amp with a graphic equalizer, but when you are stuck with small practice amps with just a 3band eq this pedal is a life saver.

Recently - a bypass looper - it so much cleaned my signal, I could not believe how much of a signal my beloved OC-2 sucked out - for so many years, damn! :hmm:

As for the best purchases ever - the '70s EHX Electric Mistress - bought in furniture(!) pawnshop for like $2 - they probably thought it is sort of some home circuit breaker or something :D

sold last year for $220...

And the box that is still moving me forward the most - the Korg Pandora - never spent so much time playing bass before - thank you! :bassist:

to post a unique answer:

qtron+ because it got me out of a bass-related boredom streak a bit ago- and opened the effect pedal flood gates.

sansamp bddi- because it was the first quality pedal i bought- and if i had to use just one pedal itd be the bddi.

The bass version of the Hot Cake is ****ing awesome. Sounds scuzzy and mean on lower notes, high notes get awesome sustain, harmonics sound amazing and if you chug on barr chords it sounds super heavy.

The Prunes and Custard is also really good if you want to get some odd squelchy / synthy sounds on yer bass. It's a harmonic modulator (the science is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond my understanding) but it certainly sounds pretty unique.

I quite like the Boss DD3 delay pedal. Simple and easy to use and gives a good variety of effects.

BJFE Blueberry, traded it for a Compulator that I'd paid $150 for plus $50. Great deal, even greater pedal. :D :hyper: :D

It hurts me every time that you post as I had contacted the guy twice a week before he posted it here, got one response and than nothing after I said that I wanted it....it is good though to hear that you're enjoying it so much! That really is what counts.

For me, the best effects purchase that I've made was a recent one, my Keeley modded DL4....I bought it used. I can't believe the sounds that I can create now having the looping mode of the DL4 at my feet. Combined with my other effects it's pretty stunning.

The best pedal purchase I ever made is, without question, my EHX Stereo Electric Mistress. No other pedal gets as much love on my board by everyone (not just me!) as the Mistress.

And she gives plenty of love back. ;)

If I could only keep one pedal, that'd be the one. I could live without my delay, my fuzz, my weird noisemakers... as long as I have a good overdrive channel on my head and the Mistress in the chain, I would have the bare essentials covered.
