I fully recommend the Q-tron+. Lots of different sounds all vey funky and tasty. And the effects loop is awesome! Stick a fuzz in there.

By 'improve,' I, of course, mean in the ability to not fry after a year.

Electro Harmonix Bass Microsynth - it's a little expensive ($250-275), but a cool range of sounds, unfortunately it's a pretty "dirty" pedal, so don't expect to get much sound out of it that isn't fuzzy. It's also hard to get the sliders in the same position all the time, so using it live/on the fly can be a challenge to dial in exactly what you want. Really fun to play with though.

Wow. That IS a steep price. I paid $200 for mine last August...

DC Electronic Vintage Bass Distorion seems like a keeper to me.

also TU-2 until lately when I´ve started to play some outdoor gigs at sunlight. Now I´m looking for something to replace it.

Probably my used Boss RV-3. A highly underrated pedal worthy of far more than the 'Boss' title, with some awesome tones at hand with the Reverb/Delay combos. Picked it up used for well under $100. It's not going anywhere. Ever.

You wont regret it for a second. I've seen a bump in the price they're fetching of late. Still worth every penny in my eyes. It holds all of the classic post-rock tones, great for large swells of reverb, even has some of the coolest gated reverb tones I've ever heard.

RC Boost Why? It's not just a clean boost, though it can do that wonderfully. It's a very tweakable preamp with EQ shaping like no other pedal I've ever tried. It's one of those pedals you always leave on.

Zoom B2 Why? It's got a great, yet simple, drum machine. This is fantastic for practicing late at night with the headphones or for laying down tracks for song ideas with a DAW. The amp models are pretty good and the direct recording tones are great. It's not the kind of pedal I'd have on my board (primarily because I don't love the tones into an amp or PA), but I think every bassist should have one.

EHX Bass Big Muff Why? This is simply the best sounding fuzz pedal I've ever tried, even for guitar. Very tweakable with the variable dry mix and insanely useable at low gain settings.

Without a doubt, My Xotic Tri-Logic outboard pre.
Very transparent, excellent, musical EQ, true bypass. Works great on passive basses that need just a little extra something, but where you don't want them to sound "active". I don't leave home without it!

I misunderstood you (and still do, going back and re-reading your post). The X-Blender can switch between blended and 100% wet with one loop, which is what I thought you were saying. You want two loops, each 100% wet, with the ability to blend between them? That would be cool- I don't know of a pre-made device that does that short of a mixer with two aux loops.
