The swr go-lite 410 is not 38LBS, its a bit over 50. Still light, but if it were 38LBS it would be missing the drivers.I absolutely love my Shuttle 6, and would definitely recommend that or a 9 for a portable head. They've got XLR direct outs on the back for when you find yourself on a bigger stage, too.
As far as portable cabs, the new SWR golights seem shockingly small. The 410 is 38 pounds. The 210 is also listed at 38 pounds, but that's the shipping weight. The actual weight is probably significantly less. I haven't seen one of them in person. Ampeg's new PRO NEO stuff seems pretty lightweight too, but a little pricier. I do know that Orange is making some extremely compact, powerful yet lightweight cabinets now too, but as you said, those would be a bit more expensive.
