Double Bass Best rehair in DC area?

When I lived in NoVA I would go to Donald Cohen, but it looks like he's closed shop to the public now and only services his own bows. However, one time his apprentice did the rehair and it was maybe even better. You may want to reach out to her and see if she's still doing them or not -- Harriet Geraldine Cohen .
Brobst probably offers rehairs but I don't have any experience with them regarding that.

I've used Brobst, Gailes, and Bob's house of basses. All were good. IIRC, Gailes added the highest premium for bass bows

I have used Potters (Fine Violins, Violas, Cellos and Bows | Potter Violins) and Lashof (Lashof Violins | Gaithersburg, MD | Violins | Repairs | Strings |Violin Shop|) in the past. Both were great but Donald Cohen was the BEST!!! I am happy that he is presumably enjoying retirement, but damn!
I have been out of playing upright for quite a while and am trying to return. I am well overdue for a rehair and am ruminating on where I will take it. I will report back once I do!
