Best Replacement 15" Speakers?

I have an old 80's Crate 2x15 bass cabinet. Thinking of putting some new guts in her. What replacement speakers should I be looking for?

Hi.

First download WinISD from linearteam.com. (Or a similar product)

Then choose a (Eminence ) driver.

Then input the internal dimensions of the existing cab into the program.

Alternatively You can post the internal dimensions and the price range you're willing to spend here and someone will most probably model the cab for you. Don't forget the port diameter (if round) so You can use the existing holes if possible.

..also, Parts Express has a great selection (and cataloge) and a technical staff that will run the software for you if you give them your box dim's over the phone. I don't have the link handy... .

BTW, it's hard to find a lot of 4ohm 15's, but I'm guessin your sitch requires 8ohm so you should be fine...
