I posted in the string forum about this and the recommended "high beams". I play mostly mostly rock and metal. If that makes a difference. I'm also really only a finger player. My hand get kinda sweaty. I like that Geezer Butler Cliff Burton David Elifson John Myung Steve Harris Rex Brown they don't need to be too funky cuz I have a flea bass for funk but everyone loves a funky Warwick! It might be much asking for the best of both worlds but you never know!
