Best tapered bass strings

I'm using a Spector 5 string though. And I HATE warwick strings....they have a kinda sticky feel to them.

are spector strings taper wound? im looking for taper wound strings

I've used DR Tapered silver rounds on my 5 string Warwick until this past winter when I changed from chrome to gold hardware. Don't need tapered anymore. The DR set is about $35 USD and will last easily over a year. And I think they sound pretty good. My bass is a 34" scale.
