Best Warwick for Metal?

I own both a Corvette standard and a $$, and both are really great basses. I can get really nasty metal tones out of either one. The $$ actually growls a bit more then my Corvette, but the vette is a bit clearer and cleaner, more low end too. I don't know if Warwick makes a bad bass for metal. You're pretty safe no matter which one you get :D

I've always wanted to try a thumb, but I never see any around my area. The 6 string fretless thumbs looks so cool but I've heard that they don't balance very well...is that true?

I've always worn my basses high, which virtually eliminates neckdive issues. Sunday and Monday, I brought my Thumb BO 6 to two separate jamming sessions and had absolutely no neckdive issues during either session.

If the bass is worn lower, I can understand where some people would experience neckdive issues. A person might be able to balance a lower-worn Thumb by adding some counter-weight near the rear strap button. (Yeah right... Add more weight to an already 11 pound Warwick? lol)
