Best way to ship a cab?

I'm looking into shipping my SWR 4x10 and I want some suggestions on packaging and service to use...

To me it looks ridiculously expensive to ship this thing.. what is the cheapest way?

If you are in North America, you might try shipping by bus. I had some oversized jeep parts shipped by bus and it was very cheap. It can also be very fast depending on the distance.

If you go by freight service, it could run $200 or more. Having someone professionally pack or crate it will add $60-$140. The finished package might be too big to ship by UPS or Fedex, so call them (with measurements) before you haul it down to be shipped. If it's not too big, UPS is very reasonable ($65 or so).

Therefore: pack yourself, then shop around for rates.
