Double Bass Better gig bag for the NS EU6

I am trying to find a better gig bag for the NS EU6. The original is fine but lacks padding, just about everywhere, where it's prone to get bumped when moving around in public transportation.

Is there anything out there that will fit this thing? I would like something like the Mono M80 or Reunion Blues Continental electric bass gig bag.

It's not crucial that the stand fits into the case. I can carry that separately if needed.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

FWIW, I use a ski-bag to move my WAV4 around, and wrap the instrument in towels for extra padding.
It has rigid plastic reinforcing and roller-wheels on one end, for dragging it over smooth surfaces.

Others have had good results from snowboard bags.

I will look into the ski and snowboard bags. After doing some research, I have a feeling it's my only solution other than asking someone to custom make one.

I just briefly looked at their site. I will ask around.

The one option I found yesterday is Glenn Cronkhite. Most likely will cost over 500 bucks in nylon and their site says they don't do custom work at this moment.

Although it's a case versus a gig bag, I use the Pelican iM3410 (five latch) long gun case from Cabela's for my WAV4. It's virtually bullet proof and has wheels. I used an electric carving knife to cut the foam and it turned out very nice. It also contains the stand.

Update on the situation.

I'm in Ukraine and I found this place that makes gig bags. I called them up and found out that they can make me a custom gig bag with dense foam (I think it's some kind of PU).

This thing should be done in about 2 weeks. Once it's done and I try it out to see if the EU6 fits correctly. I will upload the pictures.

From what I saw and ordered, this thing should be pretty good. The price was 3300 UAH, which is 122 USD. From the price point, I don't think I can complain since if I ordered it in Japan, this thing would cost way above 50,000 Yen, which is about 450 bucks.

Anyway I will update with pictures, once it's done.

I will look into this one since it I will most likely have to travel by plane with my EU6 next year. Thanks for the information.
