BH800 TonePrint issue?

I bought this head about 4-1/2 years ago. It worked GREAT for about 2 years, then out of nowhere the amp would switch into the TonePrint mode without any prompting from me. I tried unplugging the foot switch. Still did it. I completed the firmware update. Still did it. I've spoken to three different "authorized" TC service centers and no one has seen this issue.

Have any of you run into this issue with head or the BH500?
