Bi-Amp Drive?

Hey folks,


This is what I'm looking to do, and need some suggestions. It's based on my "studio" tone, but I'm looking for a way to replicate it live.

This is what my tone is:

Track 1 - HPF at about 100 hz

Track 2 - HPF in mids (Around 720 hz), with some grit thrown on top

Is there a way to do this? I do not want to have any drive on the "clean" track. I do not have a Ric, and I'm working with a combo amp that does not have bi-amp features.

What would the signal chain look like and what are some options for this?

Brimstone XD-2? Not exactly what you're looking for, but pretty close.

From hearing what others have said, broughton audio could build you one custom.

You could do it with two broughton hpf pedals, a boss ls2, and your dirt pedal or choice.

AxeFX is the simplest solution, albeit not cheap. This is the type of setup in which the Axe excels.

So far it looks like the Brimstone is coming closest.

What I would do then is have fdeck's HPF first then brimstone xd2 second.

I've also been eyeing up the OCS, which has some nice pass filter features as well.

But welp, money that I don't have.
