Bi Amp gk 2001 rb into ampeg cabs and custom tweets

I have a rb2001 gk it has 2 speakons for each amp (mono) If I set my 2 ampeg pinouts for 1&2 low signal output & tweeter horns to pinout 3&4 high freq output would it be the same amp assignment as 1 4pinout speakon cable into a gk cab?
i have 2 ea ampeg bxt 4/10's 4 ohm i want to add 2 ea eminence tweeters dedicated to high freq like a gk cab to get that GK GROWL!
Am I on the right track?

4 pole speakons are labeled 1+, 1- and 2+, 2- but yes if you wire the cone speakers to the 1+ and 1- and the horn to the 2+ and 2- you will have a G-K "Bi-amp" compatible cab no matter who makes it. No crossover needed in the cab. The growl actually comes from the cone speakers and the horns stay clean.
