We became a full time two piece not long ago and the bi amp'ed bass rig thing has become mind altering for us. So many possibilities!

I can't think of the name either, but she played a Rickenbacker and had a killer rig with the Ric-O-Sound and all that.Nice. Reminds me of another (similar) band where the bassist (female) was a member of a bass forum. Not sure if it was Talkbass though.
Clatter HeadquartersYeah, probably not us as we're only recently (last 6 months ) doing this. If you recall who it was, we'd love to check them out. Not too many similar set ups out there that we can find and we'd love to connect with more of them![]()

Dig that! One of my favorite rigs biamping is the tech 21 rbi into a crest poweramp, split into GK cabs.
I run a compressor on the low end and let the growl do it’s thing on the top. Lots of fun in certain bands for sure.

Yes. I had to ask Funkee1. He remembers everything. That's her. Amy, right?
Right on! Checked them out. Pretty cool
Our bi-amp is a little different in that you can control the "guitar" side and bass side via the pedal board. Lot's of sounds for one instrument. I have also sized it down so we dont have a ton of gear. Touring is easy that way lol. Could feasibly size it down more with a combo bass amp but not going to spend that cheddar just yetI bi-amped with Peavey stuff back in college. I don't remember my exact rig, I think it was a TNT Amp that had the "crossover" built in. I ran the highs to a Peavey (I know...) powered PA cab that was a horn and 2 10's. I split the crossover at around 100hz. I had a Peavey DynaBass, white pearl 5 string with gold hardware. Pretty sweet. Probably my first active 5 string bass. I think there is something to be said for "bi-amping" but I guess I'm tired of having a lot of gear in my old age. Most of my gigs are "bi-amped" anyway as I go DI/IEM into a FOH systeem with subs and tops.
Muchas Gracias!!That's an ultra cool two piece line-up!![]()
