When I started off the Precision , I didn't have any goals and had no idea what direction I was taking ...
I got a cheap Squier Affinity PJ , just to mess around with some Precision sound.
Got a new bridge (Gotoh) ... wow what a diffefrnce. Got some Hipshot tuners , that was cool.
The big difference came with the EMG GZR PJ set, i was so happy I thought I'll stop there, but then I got the mighty mite maple neck which completely changed the feel of the bass .... again , i thought I was done , but then I stumbled upon a cheap VM PJ body on REVERB ...
now Its complete (i think )

. Don't sell your Stingray. You can never replace it. Ever. You can always get a Sadowsky or a ______ (fill in the blank) bass, though you might have to save up for it. So don't be silly. Now go play your Stingray! I did this with a Les Paul I had 15 years ago and regret it to this very day.
