Big or small

I was wondering if someone here could help me. I did a gig a few weeks ago at a club that has a pa. The run everybody threw it and that’s great. I did the gig using my epifani 410 and Eden WT550. Everything should great. My question is do you think I get away with using less. I was thinking about using my two gene Benz 112 cabinets with the 6.2 shuttle head. It doesn’t kick like the other setup, but was thinking I didn’t need to, and it’s easier on my back. What say you folks on TB?

Depends on how much the FOH leans on the stage rig to carry some of the bass, how much your bandmates lean on your stage rig for monitoring bass, and how much the on-stage tonal differences matter to you.

Guessing from your gear choices, I'd wager that the answer is yes, you could "get away with using less." How that much feels to you like a good compromise we can't predict.

The genz Benz handles its business I think it could carry the room if I needed it to but not like the other setup. I don’t feel like I’m compromising tone or my sound just a little power. I was thinking the mains would give the added punch
