Bike commuting with bass

Love that song (and as an avid cyclist myself, I dig the inspiration).

I think what caught me most is... is your Modulus fretted or lined fretless? Because if it's fretted, that fretless "mwah" sound you got from it is crazy impressive. And it's crazy how so many people think Modulus basses sound "sterile" or whatever, but here it's warm, woody, and has a sweet mwah.

Great stuff!

Thank you, it's a fretted bass. I actually do play fretless 80% of the time though, 😆

I didn't think I'd see two of my interests cross over in such a way as this, but I'm happy I did. Did I hear car horns??? Hahaha

Love that you commute with your bass. Do you have a gig bag preference for biking?
At first I used a Mono (M80?), but they're a little bulky and heavy for longer rides. For the last few years I've just used the Protec that came with one of my basses. It's a lot lighter and water resistant enough for light rain. If it's raining hard I just wrap my bass in a large garbage bag and put that inside of the case.

Ah the garbage bag. Such An underrated piece of gear for commuting on two wheels of any kind.
