I bought these two "Bill Lawrence" J pickups - JB1 and JB2, not seeing the disclaimer of Jzchak Wajman not being associated with Bill Lawrence the designer. Does anyone have any experience with these? What is the difference from the "real" Bill? Did I get "F'd"? Any help would be great.

Not sure about the f'ed part..hook em up and see if you like em.
I think Bill sold his name/rights to a certain design idea. He doesn't have anything to do with em anymore. To get the "real deal" you have to order em via Becky Lawrence..she tried steering me toward their website but I opted to order them over the phone. Took 2 weeks to get here...arrived today!!

As I recall Bill didn't seel the rights to use his name so much as he was swindled. This took place quite awhile back. The pickups are nothing like the real deal.
