Billy Sheehan | Playing, Sound and Life | Interview | Thomann

Billy is phenomenal! I have seen him with Mr. Big and 3 times with Winery Dogs - what a great band they are!

I've got to watch this. Thanks!!
My pleasure. :) I know he's controversial, because of his "spiritual" positions, his sound and his way of playing, but I still like him a lot. I watched all his videos and he always has something interesting to say or to teach. He is always humble, has a lot of humor, and I find his work with Niacin absolutely brilliant and inspiring. The duo he forms with the incredible Dennis Chambers (one of my favorite drummers) is literally amazing. For once, this is really spiritual music here.

Shows you shouldn't be too quick to judge people based on their religious and political views.

Great interview.

And yes, you think, you stink!

To quote Maynard from Tool:

"Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines"
