Birth Year Bass

I'm lucky, I was born in the mid 60's. I can't afford a Fender or Gibson from that era, but I'm going to get a usable, funky old Japanese bass from my birth year.

The problem is proving the exact year, because dating private label basses is often difficult, and many don't have serial numbers.

So, I'll find a period correct, cool, playable old bass, short scale, and play it out on occasion.
