1992 Peavey TL-5.

Just by chance, the second bass that I bought and still have is a Kramer Duke and could have been made my birth year, but may be 2 years younger.
Same here ... but I don't care for the un-split coil pickups so I'd have to go with a '57 P Bass
lets see, what was good in 1996? i guess you cant go wrong with a peavey, maybe a sarzo? or a dyna? foundation? eh, any will do 
im VERY happy to own a Fender Custom Shop 1964 Relic Closet Classic Jazz in Sunburst.A very sweet bass.A Great year IMO.
