Hi there, I recently got a fender Jaguar bass vintage modified, have been enjoying learning how to play bass, and I am looking to get some new strings to replace the stock ones. The black beauties look like something I would be down for, the 105 to 45, but I have a weird streak of bad luck in my life, and heard that heavy strings might not be the best choice for the Jaguar. Although 105 to 45 is not necessarily very heavy, I just want to run it through with you guys to confirm that that would be okay, because like I said, the way that my luck has been going lately, I wouldn't be surprised that I would string the bass with the strings, and then the bass itself would explode, and then my basement would explode, and then everything that I love would explode.
So in conclusion, I'm good to outfit my Squier Jaguar vintage modified with a set of 105 to 45 black beauties, right?
