Black Cat Bass Octave Fuzz / Pole Master Comparison (too)

I put up some real quick clips using my Music Man Stingray for you active bass players. There are four clips located in my Pole Master versus Black Cat folder. Each clip starts off with the clean bass which is followed up by the Pole Master and then Black Cat.

Let me know what you think. In my opinion, it was a little more glitchy but sounded pretty good.

i also have the bogdan brassmaster clone, and i notice a volume drop with the 2 switches, depend on the settings i use.
do you have the same problem with yours?

I do notice the same thing. I don't think it's a problem though. It appears to be the nature of the beast. My Black Cat does the same thing.

Anyone with a similar experience for the B:assmaster?

Hi Clifton - thanks for posting the comparison clips - really helpful! They both sound pretty 'bad' its a question of which you think is 'badder!'

I think I still like the Bogdan better. Initially, it wasn't even close in my mind. I have since worked with the Black Cat more and it is gaining ground. However, Bogdan's is still edging it out ever so slightly.

Bogdan's has more gain on tap than the Black Cat. This makes some of the settings on the Bogdan sound incredible.
