No need for a number. Here's mine and its sibling...

My kitty (pic taken just after I got it) is in the process of being blacked out...

- Frets to be pulled, ebony fretlines, dotmarkers replaced with ebony.
- Neck on the sibling was to be swapped over, but now I'm just planning on covering the original neck in black shellac.
- Black hardware (strap buttons, bridge, control plate, string tree and tuners)
- Black out the white stripe on the pickguard
- Graphtech black nut
- Black tapewounds first, then DR Black Beauties ... don't know which will wind up staying

I've started the hardware, but really need to get going on the fret pulling. Will do so when I get the sibling back from being loaned out to guitarist friend.

I don't like the Tort on the sibling, but I'm undecided what I want to replace it. Might be a black MOP, orange or white... IDK.

I know what you mean. The Geddy Lee Jazz I posted here, is the replacement for one I had to part with. I sold off a couple of others to recently to take the bite out of it.

What a coincidence! Earlier this year, I had to liquidate two basses to get my first, albeit used, MIA Fender Jazz!

Dayum! Mad Love as always for matching/painted headstocks, but that rosewood fretboard's grain is killing me!! drool What a great find!

This is one I put together. Shielded all cavities; lots of searching for the parts, especially those split coil pick ups. Plays great!

I love the Super 55s you used. I use them as the "J" in my PJ basses. Great jazz sound when soloed, without the hum:
