blacktop jazz modifications

I would like to know if anyone has a fender blacktop JAZZ bass that has modified it in any way. If it is anything to do with a visual mod, please post pictures. I have the black version, and am thinking about possibly putting a new pickguard, want to see what others have done to theirs. Any electrical mods, how did they benefit?

Seems no one has modified a blacktop jazz, how about any black bass with different colored pickguards. Interested in perhaps red tortoise, but anything different may give me new ideas for mine.

I have experimented in the past, and discovered I pretty much only like plain white or black with a black finish. I've tried white pearloid, tort, even green pearloid. Just didn't float my boat. Besides, I think the all black Blacktop looks pretty cool (but not enough to make me keep it).
