Blend Pot acting weird.

I have an active bass. It has a volume, bass, treble, and blend knob. The blend knob works nice in the neck pickup (50% and past the detent), but the lower of half of the blend (bridge/treble side) has a significant drop in volume, body, and all around signal (I have to play hard to play with distortion or it drops out). A multimeter determined it wasn't the pickups. WHAT DO?!?!

Right now the neck is lowered flush with the body and the bridge is almost at the strings and there is still a considerable difference, plus it still sounds like half signal with it raised that much, even.

Thanks, all. I fixed it. Had it wired like a Bourne's when it was a Bartolini. Apparently the lug orientation is backwards.
Cool. Yeah, I just slapped a bourns blender in my pj. Wired it backwards. But it was weird. It had full neck front direction, full bridge back direction, then cut out completely at center. Switched the hot and ground, and it worked full rotation, but the pickups were reversed. Had to switch the pickup leads around. Works cherry now, but it had me scratching my head a bit. Hahaha
