What did you use to paint it? I've been trying Krylon Fusion to make a pickguard black and it isn't going so well. Did you have to put a little clear coat on it afterward?

Rustoleum Hammered Metal finish. I actually sprayed it with that first in the copper color. That stuff is awesome. I sprayed straight silver Rustoleum over that and it's been fine. I don't think Krylon paints are as durable as Rustoleum. Oh and no clear coat. I sprayed my Sadowsky jazz pickguard the copper color too and people have told me you can't tell it's not stock that way.

Btw, love your bass. Those are so cool!
