This one's been around a few times, but it's staying with me now. Blue Xotic XB six-string with factory 2-tek bridge.

Slapped a set of Dingwall 6 strings on it and yowza, this thing is a tone monster, and the Dingwall strings are so nice it almost plays itself.

How happy are you with the Gibson? I've been interested in them, just on principle (I've only had one gibson, and that was LONG ago). So how nice is it? What would you compare it to? And can you get it without the silly dollar sign?

I'm happy with it. What would I compare it to? I don't know. I guess it sounds more like a Thunderbird than anything, the neck is very comfortable, it weighs less than I thought it would, and there is a barely noticable finish flaw, but all in all it's a good value for what it cost.

The dollar sign logo is on the truss rod cover and easily replaced.

Mine looked just like that, but now has a pearloid PG, a Gotoh 201 bridge and flats on it. That color is hard to photograph though, it looks so much better in person.

it's an awesome color. it does take a certain lighting to make it stand out. i've seen yours in another thread, it looks great.
