is there a blues bassist club? I did search but didn’t see anything!

Count me in! It's my favorite to play! Oddly enough, it was the bass in a lot of blues music, not just guitar, that drew me to the genre.

I've done two IBC with two different bands. Both times got as far as the semi-finals.

We've done it 3 times and for some unknown reason our drummers quit about a month before the competition. This does not lead to great results.

I thought there was, because I was sure I had posted in it; darned if I can find it now...
If you're starting one, surely there is a better forum than 'Basses' tho ... 'Bassists' maybe - 'Miscellaneous' probably...
But I'd be in, wherever it winds up...
I'm in a 'blues-oriented' project that open with a set of Delta slide stuff - that's an electric upright set for me.
