Double Bass Blues Jazz standards recommendations

Hi,

im looking for some recommendations. Im starting a small jazz trio and we want to introduce/familiarize ourselves with some jazz blues standards. Since we have little experience yet perferally not ones that are really hard

We currently picked C blues jam, since it is a 12bar blues which stands model for alot of the other 12bar blues.

Im looking to have a few suggetions for the following types of standards:

12 bar blues with a twist(alteration within the 12bar):
All blues

Blues in minor:
Equinox(Ostinato bass line)

non 12 bar blues:
Watermelon man(16 bar)

Blues ballad:
Blue in green(10bar)
^would love to know a couple blues jazz ballads!

Hope some song names popup in your minds.

The original Afro-Blue uses the minor blues form for the solo section. The head isn't bluesy and coltranes make it modal.

Might as well throw in All Blues while we are rolling with Kind Of Blue.

Mr. PC is another minor blues I like.

Blue in green is not a blues. (Like One Note Samba, which is not a Samba but a Bossa Nova and Blue Bossa not being a Bossa Nova but a Samba.)

Goodbye Porkpie Hat is a Blues ballad, but with a bit more complicated/enriched chord changes.

"Girl Talk" is a reharmonized blues. "Sidewinder" is a blues. "Au Privave" and "Barbados" are 2 blues tunes by Charlie Parker.
"Lester Leaps In" is rhythm changes, however.

I agree! But also allow us to hear everyone easily. We might get a sax/trompet/horn player in the future.
