Bluesman by John Scott

Just noticed this bass in the back of my Vintage Guitar sittin' & sippin' mag dated Feb. 2010: "The Bluesman Vintage '62 Stack Knob J Style."
Anyone have any experience with these instruments? I did a due-diligence search of the archives, but didn't come up with anything meaningful. Just curious. Apparently it has a P-ish neck, but from the pics, the relic work looks decent - played-in rather than sanded-on. Anyone?

I own three Bluesman Vintage Basses from John Scott.

I can rant all day about how nice these are.

They simply are the finest vintage relic basses I've played.
And I've played them all.

Worth every penny, great basses.

Had the privilege of trying out a few Bluesman Vintage Basses at the Dallas Show this weekend. Really, REALLY good.

I'll be ordering one in the next few weeks.

My latest Bluesman Vintage bass. John calls his P bass style the DeVille. This one is a P/J, J style neck, D. Allen pickups, VVT, tort guard. He aged the finish to mimic the natural wear on my '66 Fender P. This P/J has quickly become my "go to" bass. Tone and playability are fanfreakintastic. This is the best P/J style bass I've ever owned (and I've had a couple!). Can't say enough really about John Scott's work.
