Bluetooth IEM Revisited

I'm certainly not expecting this stuff to be the Cadillac of in-ear monitoring, but if there's a possibility that its a cheap and useable alternative, then there's no harm in giving it a shot...especially in a controlled rehearsal environment where a performance isn't at stake if it doesn't work out.

I get this. But for an inexpensive current-technology IEM solution, going wired still makes way more sense than bluetooth. Better sound and safer, too.

Related interest/application: listening to Youtube videos and feeding in an audio signal from your bass, for practice and learning purposes. Is there a device out there with a 1/4" input that connects into your phone and an app that mixes the two audio signals? Or a standalone BT transmitter you can plug your bass and a phone into?
