Great bassist. Also writes the best column in BP Magazine (although way too short) besides Ed Friedland's. IMO
Some techniques are more effective in instructional video than they are on the real life bandstand where the bassist has tried and true traditional dance band function. But Bobby sure sounds great when he does his thing. Mastery of the plectrum? Check out some of the Greek bouzouki masters...I kid you not. Or some of the modern bluegrass guitar whizzes.
Bobby Vega is one of the greatest. and the fact he's a Acoustic Control fan is a big plus too....
His rendition of "Popcorn" @ 7:37 with pick on tooth is tasty!

Bobby is one my biggest influences. I really dig his style. Everytime I pick up my basses I started noodling a poor attempt to replicate Bobby's "Gosh" diddy. Great stuff!
