Body contouring Gretsch G2220

Has anyone tried adding some contouring to this fun short-scale bass? I am sure it would make it much more comfortable to play with a bit of contouring and might drop a bit of weight in the process. The biggest concern I have before I even attempt it myself is if it would throw off the balance too much and cause some serious neck dive issues.
Any input would be appreciated.

I just bought one of these, love it. It's so light to begin with, I wouldn't be worried about the weight. I could see a scallop for your forearm or maybe one on the back for when you're sitting. I did a mod to mine that may help with eliminating neck dive, if it becomes a problem. I added another strap lock higher up on the heel that holds the bass in a more upright position. I've torn my bicep and can't rotate my

fretting hand all the way around, so this allows me to keep the bass in the right position.
