hey guys! so i just got my Bongo.it's a Lava Pearl 4 strings i bought to Jim Lynch ( gearhunter420 , a very great guy ) and i just wanted to share this with u. first impresion? WOW
...
it was awsome, my first ever High-quality owned bass! oh Lord...it was just beautiful with those Dr Red Devils ( i believe ) strings on.
sound? well...i didn't like it very much, because the strings were buzzing all over so...i couldn't actually play. i adjusted the thruss rod a lil and the next day ( today) i could play a lil. i really didn't dig it.i guess i don't like old strings sound.kind of mute. the great thing is that mister jim Lynnch hook me up with a new set of Super Slinkyes. wow, i changed them and OH LORD!!! WHAT A SOUND!!!
just that, i have to adjust the strings height. i don't like the high action, i HATE that.i just love the low action so, i have to do something about and I CAN'T!!!!
seems that the wrench size is royal ( i believe ). i used either a 1,5 mm allen wrench and a 2 mm one. none of them fit. the 1,5 is to lil, and the 2 is to big

so, anyone help me??? please??? i guess it's probably a 0.06" wrench ( 1/16 ?? ) so like 1, 52 mm or so. where can i find that? how do i do that?
so, the day i got it, i went to Barcelona ( 60 km distance, 32 milles?? ) over to my church and grabbed my Mag 115. came back home and plugged ( today ) the bass.. i love it, but, i will love it more when i'll get it all set up.
tomorow i will go to the youth meeting and i'll play that thing FOR THE GLORY OF THE LORD!!!!! i am the bass player there and will be the main bass player in the church too soon. i'm the second player in our church.
so, there u have a pic of it ( bad one ) but i will get some more and high quality tomorrow ( in action too ) .so just wait on me
.
i want to thank Mister Jim Lynch!!! Such a great person!!! very understanding, kind and patient. such a great deal and such a great treatment!
sure will do more "bussines" with him in the future !
