The command center updates of the Stomp makes the device super flexible and cuts down on tap dancing and/or need for complicated MIDI syncing. Of course, there's still support for that if your setup is more complicated.
Also, re menu diving on the Stomp: I get it that some people are just more averse to this no matter what, but I find the UI/UX of the Stomp really nice and easy. Yes, there's a little learning curve, but that's true of most gear. Once you mess around in there enough, you get the flow and can make changes pretty quickly. Also, the more I've messed around with the Stomp, I've found that I don't need to tweak as much — I found my sounds and settings for the most part.
