Boost an Ibanez BTB1205 Prestige

Hi there!

My question is simple. If you had that bass, which pick ups & preamp will you use to replace the Bart's electronics? (they're not bad at all, but they lack of attack, bottom end...)

I've just done my BTB1005

Nordstrand Dual Coils

Audere Vol - Vol - Stacked Mid - Bass - Treb - Z Mode and series/para for each pick up.

I left the passive option out as Dave Meadows said I'd get the same with Z mode in middle position, all tones flat.

In case one of you change the bartolini system on a BTB (1005 or 1205), I'm interested in buying second hand pickups and preamp to equip my BTB 405...

You'll have to contact bestbassgear.com for the Nordstrand prices as 6 str will be different to 5.

Contact Audere direct for their price as it depends on the configuration but the prices are listed on their web page.
