Double Bass Boss Acoustic Instrument Processor

I've looked through the threads, but have not found anywhere if anyone has tried either the:

Boss AD-3 Acoustic Instrument Processor or the
Boss AD-5 Acoustic Instrument Processor

I'm in the market fro a new Pre-amp and was looking at what these boxes did and wondering if they would work well with an UB.

I believe the AD-5 is discontinued, but it has a seperate inputs for a piezo and magnetic pickup. The AD-3 is a floor model that has a foot switch for anti-feedback.

I have contacted Roland Canada, they have not heard of anyone using these on an UB, but suggest it should work fine. Now to fine a local supplier that might let me try out the AD-3.

Thanks

There's probably a reason for that. I believe there are other
preamps out that are as good or better, AND cheaper.
Do a little preamp search. I'm sure you'll find a number of
good ideas.
