Boss DR-5 or other suggestions.

Not sure this is in the correct forum but…I used to have a Boss DR-5 and liked it a lot, but found it a little cumbersome to program, so primarily utilized the preset rhythms. Unfortunately, I lost it in the September floods in Colorado last year. I want to replace it. Before purchasing another DR- 5, I wanted to get feedback if there is something better. I basically use it as a backing track. I want to be able to not only utilize different musical styles, but also play along with different instruments, and cut out the bass track. I won’t be using this for any recording. Thanks.
