Boss GEB-7 morse-codey type noise

Hi all, I hope someone can please help with this; I have a Boss GEB-7 that emits a high pitched, high speed morse-code type noise, like someone's transmitting at high speed. I don't know if this is the typical noise problem that people talk about, but a Monte Allum's fix didn't correct the problem, so I suspect not (it did improve the sound in other respects, though!). Am I correct in this? If so, has anyone found a fix for this? Thanks!

Have you tried isolating this - run pedal on its own, and on battery? Could be your noise is coming from something else; the power supply, some other pedal in the chain, or even other equipment in the room.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry, I forgot to mention; it happens with battery or no battery and the problem is least (but still present) when sliders are flat, worse when any slider is adjusted and worst when the treble is up full (not surprisingly, given the frequencies at which it's occurring). It also occurs regardless of location or whether there's a phone nearby or not and even if it's the only pedal in the chain.

Yep. Not saying it's your phone, but I do experience this quite a bit with one guitar I have. Next time it happens, turn your phone off (not in airplane mode, completely off) and see if it solves the problem.

Tried some better quality OPA2134 chips last night and also no phones; no good : (

Looks like I'm stuck with a dud (grrr!) unless anyone else has some suggestions. Thanks to all who have tried to help so far!
