Ive looked all over and cant find an answer to my question. Does the GT-6b have a tuner built in and if so is it accurate?

Boss GT-6b Question

It's not so innacurate that you'd need to buy a seperate tuner. If you're that worried about miniscule fractions of a pitch I'd recommend the peterson strobostomp( sp?)over the boss tu2 from what I've read about on this board
I thought it was good enough for live work.
The only reason why I have an outboard tuner on my board is because I already had one when I got my GT6B.
Yeah the Peterson will probably stomp any tuner out there. It's warmer and more organic.

Most multieffects pedal boards have a tuner (in fact, I can't think of one that doesn't) and they're perfect for live on the fly tuning. Some boards are a press and hold button for tuning and others are press 2 buttons for tuner. The best part is the auto-mute when you tune on some boards.
Yes, it has a tuner and works fine. It's very sensitive actually. And it does mute the output when you have the tuner on, which I happen to think is very important. People don't come from miles around to hear you tune up.
