Boss HM-3 Hyper Metal better than HM-2

I just bought an old HM-3 to try it just for a back up for my loved and trusty HM-2.

Oh my god, just when i tought things could't get anny better, buuuuum, more low end and definition from the HM-3, with the gain rolled off sounds excelent as a little boost-overdrive or turned all the way up is insanely low freakin dirrrt. Now the HM-2 is my back up....go get one!!

I wonder if things would be even better if you change the first capacitor to 1microF. Usually what I do with boss guitar pedals.

I don't know, but this thing sounds great as it is

I used an HM-3 for a year or so. I've never tried the HM-2, so I can't compare the two, but the HM-3 was a lot of fun. I think I read somewhere that Peter Steele from Type O Negative used one.
